How We Make a Difference at Mary Gran
"My family was faced with having to place our father in a long-term care facility after a decline in his health. Myself and my brother and sister all work full-time jobs and there was no way we could take care of his needs. Mary Gran Nursing Center was a prayer answered. We cannot say enough about the wonderful and caring staff at this facility. From administration, nurses, CNAs, down to the dietary and housekeeping staff, they were all wonderful! We never had a problem. The nurses always kept us updated on daddy's care and what was going on. I love the fact that they have an in-house Family Nurse Practitioner who gets to know the patient and their baseline health condition and is able to actually see and lay eyes on the patient after the nurses report a change in their condition. This is a great advantage that you have someone in-house who can see the patient and not just having the nurse call a doctor on the phone to report a problem or change in condition. There is no perfect long-term care facility, but from experience, my family can say we were so grateful that we had Mary Gran to place our father. We have no regrets and were so thankful that we had this facility in our county so that we could go by often and check and visit with our dad his last few years. Me, my brother and sister all live and work in Sampson County, so it was so convenient to run by and see our dad. Thank you again Mary Gran Nursing Center for all you did for our daddy! We cannot sing your praises enough. We will continue to keep all of your staff in our prayers."
