At Pisgah Manor, rehabilitation is all about moving forward following an accident, surgery, stroke or cardiac event. Highly trained physical, speech and occupational therapists develop an individualized daily plan for you, setting achievable goals to return you to as full a lifestyle as possible after a health event that requires rehabilitation. - Occupational therapy focuses on helping you manage day-to-day tasks, such as bathing, personal grooming, dressing, eating and resuming your hobbies and interests.
- Speech therapy helps improve communication skills, cognitive function and swallowing abilities.
Pisgah Manor’s 1,500-square-foot therapy gym offers advanced rehabilitation equipment like the NuStep® Tr4 recumbent cross-trainer. Enhanced therapy services at Pisgah Manor include diathermy to assist with decreasing pain, electrical stimulation to support improved joint movement and muscle strength and vital stimulation to promote better swallowing. “Everything was wonderful. All of the staff were kind and compassionate. You felt like they really cared. Pisgah Manor was clean, bright and comfortable. I am so glad this is where my husband went for his rehab. Thank you staff for all you did for him and me during his stay.” – Resident’s Wife
“My dad was here for two weeks and he was treated amazing! All the nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, CNAs, front desk staff, social workers, director and anyone else he came in contact with were wonderful! It is hard enough having to admit a loved one to any type of facility for rehab, extra help or because they cannot live on their own, but Pisgah Manor made this easy and allowed us to rest easy knowing that our dad and husband was being taken care of and getting the help he needed to be able to come home. If you are looking for a facility for your loved one, this is the place. Thank you to all the staff who helped my dad. We so appreciate you all!” – Resident’s Daughter

Any concerns you may have are addressed promptly and they will do whatever they can to make sure your loved one will feel as much as home as possible. I highly recommend the facility for rehabilitation or for long-term care." – Resident’s Family Member
